Welcome to the Doug and Kathy Show!
Thank you for coming! Let us tell you a little about us.
Doug Quick is a certified Media Specialist and technology instructor with 15 years of experience. He also serves as the staff technology trainer in his building. He has been a presenter at both the Michigan Digital Learning Conference and ISTE 2014 and 2015. Doug recently earned his Lego EV3 Instructor Certification from Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy. For the past three years, Doug has helped to write curriculum for the 21Things4Students.net website and led multiple teacher trainings in the curriculum. In his spare time, he works diligently to divide his time fairly between his family and his large collection of Mac and IBM products. He is an aficionado of Adventure Time, cites obscure film references at will, and can easily be persuaded to sing the theme song to the television show, “The Love Boat.” |
Kathy Campau is 17 year veteran teacher at Richmond Middle School. She teaches technology, which includes web design, video production, programming, multimedia, and 5th and 6th grade "wheels." In 2012, she was the Macomb County Middle School Teacher of the Year. As a member of the 21 Things 4 Students Advisory team, she helps develop lesson plans used by middle school students all over the world. Kathy is a frequent presenter at conferences, including MACUL, MAMSE, 21st Century Learning, and the Michigan Digital Learning Conference. She loves technology and sharing ideas with others.
Outside of the technology world, Kathy lives on a farm full of alpacas. You're likely to stumble upon her with a book in her hand, watching football, and playing with her son. |
